Who am I?

My name is Eric, and I live in Newark, Delaware. It all began when my wife and I bought our house, and I noticed a few things that needed modifying. That's when the idea of trying my hand at carpentry crossed my mind. I borrowed a miter saw from a friend and, little by little, I started making the changes I envisioned. Surprisingly, the results turned out better than I had anticipated.

For a few years afterward, I didn't do much in terms of carpentry, and I missed it. Then, in the summer of 2019, my neighbor offered me a fantastic deal on an old Craftsman table saw. Shortly after, a family member offered to give me his old miter saw, and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity. These tools sparked my imagination, leading me to envision all the things I could build. Once I started, I couldn't stop thinking about new projects, and I still haven't stopped to this day.

The momentum in my journey began with the construction of a workbench for my shed. I spent days and weeks meticulously planning, visualizing, and drawing out every detail of what it would look like and what materials I would need. I dedicated countless hours to watching online videos to learn the best construction techniques for bringing my vision to life. After two months of careful building, it was finally completed. It became the cornerstone of my workspace, providing me with a sturdy surface to tackle any project. I meticulously crafted every detail in my mind, creating what remains my greatest creation to date. After completing the workbench, I ventured into making various items, learning new joinery methods, and refining my approach to projects.

However, it was in the fall of 2021 that my woodworking journey took a significant turn. I started creating pieces for other people, and that's when my life changed forever.
